   • Auto-tune: It can adjust fuel map automatically (with the right AFR module) to optimize for performance.

3. Advanced Control Features

   • Spark angle adjustment: You can change ignition timing.

7. Reliability / Safety

   • Has built-in safety / diagnostic features (malfunction code reading) so tuning or engine failures can be better managed. 

   • Being a dedicated performance ECU, it’s more robust than stock ECU when pushed hard, but needs correct map / tuning.

   • UMA provides an official M9 ECU app for Android / iOS to tune, monitor, and adjust parameters.
